FEB Admin Blog
Hello one and all, Yes, it’s a new month and a new update, February flew by with a 6 on the advance roll, but that doesn’t mean it was any less eventful, we have a lot to get through so here we go!!!
We saw Valentines Day, the day of love, we here at the admin team hope everyone had an amazing day with those you love. I know those of us at the club spent it with the models we love, and the dice that hate us.
Signup for Blood bowl closed, everyone that signed up should have received a link to the campaign site that is being used. Good luck to everyone. I hope we all have a fantastic time, and my money’s on ‘The Screaming Goats’ (yes, I am biased)
The admin team has been working hard at planning the next weekend event, on Saturday the 12th of April 2025. “Battle Buddies” is the theme, promoting cooperative play, in 2V2 matches and Team style games like Necromunda, Kill Team, and Blood Bowl. For more information check out the ‘announcements’ tab of our Discord.
Last but not least, it is my pleasure to tell you about ‘Gaming at the PHIVE’, from the 5th of March we will be hosting a free of charge gaming and hobby space every Wednesday 5pm-8pm at Parramatta PHIVE. So, if you’re free Wednesday nights and want more gaming/ hobby time, come on down.
On top of all that, the admin team still found time to work on our own personal projects, let’s have a quick look at what we’ve managed to get done!!!
Baden- “Over February I’ve been finishing up the painting of my Imperialis Titan army and finishing up my Warmaster Titan. I learned a bunch about smooth blending over large plates and did my best learning how to properly use glazes to make good gradients. I’m proud of how it turned out and I think I did really well. I’ve also primed some Tyranids and started doing some painting on them for a new project coming up. Hoping to have the Tyranids done and dusted in a couple of weeks”. (photo A)
Josh- “This month I started working on some Stormcast Eternals for AoS” (photo B)
Jye- “This month I've been working on some kill team in preparations for our new space opening up on Wednesday. Can't wait to see how well these ladies do in future games” (photo C)
Phillip- “this month I didn’t have a lot of free time, but with what I had, I continued working on my Maggotkin of Nurgle army, by painting 20 Plaguebearers. 40 down, 10 to go” (photo D)
Wow, for the shortest month of the year we sure got a lot done, but we are not slowing down, we have more plans! More excitement! More War Gaming instore for the future!
but until then, we’ll see you on Friday.
